Remote Education
In line with the Government’s guidance for schools on maintaining their capacity to deliver high-quality remote education, at Birstwith we are keen to ensure that all children are able to continue their learning, even if physically unable to attend.
In these circumstances, we will ensure the timely provision of remote education. For children in Key Stage 1 this will be 3 hours a day on average, increasing to 4 hours for Key Stage 2 children.
Learning will be a mixture of recorded or live direct teaching time, as well as time for children to complete activities independently. Where applicable, use will continue to be made of the school’s online learning platform, DB Primary.
